Weather Head and bugs

This is called a weather head. It is where you house connects to the power grid. The big balls of black tape cover what are called bugs. A bug is the connector that ties into the PECO lines. We receive several service calls every year when a client looses half of the power to the house. This problem is often caused by bad bugs.
